Takealot is South Africa’s largest online marketplace – and selling on it gives you instant access to millions of potential customers without building your own store. This 2-week live cohort teaches you everything you need to become a successful marketplace seller: account setup, listing optimization, pricing strategy, fulfillment options (Sellerfulfilled vs Takealot Offers), managing reviews, and scaling your marketplace business.

This is a live cohort course

  • Format: Live Google Meet classes with an instructor
  • Duration: 2 weeks live classes (17 Aug – 28 Aug 2026) plus 1 week for the Final Project (due 4 September 2026)
  • Live Classes: 6 (3 per week – Mon, Tue, Fri)
  • Sessions: Early Morning 07:00–09:00 or Late Evening 20:30–22:30 SAST
  • Assignments: Weekly practical marketplace-selling tasks plus final marketplace launch plan
  • Certificate: Non-accredited certificate of completion
  • Recordings: No recordings unless stated

Week 1: Marketplace Landscape, Takealot Setup & Listings
Understand the SA marketplace landscape, register as a Takealot seller, and create optimized product listings.

Week 2: Pricing, Fulfillment, Reviews & Scaling
Master Takealot pricing and fees, choose the right fulfillment model, build reviews, and scale your marketplace business.

Final Project & Certificate
Submit your complete marketplace launch plan and qualify for your certificate.
